+ Cracked Lips: Salty After Party
Sat 2 Dec – 12.30am til late
THISISPOPBABY warmly invites you underground, to a secret soirée with friends…
Step into the electric world of Club Salty, the apocalyptic cabaret with an outrageously limited audience capacity. Indulge your senses in a whirlwind of sodium-encrusted humour, briny tunes, and mind-blowing talent that’ll leave you, ahem, parched for more.
Dublin 9’s Racket Space is our bawdy bunker and sumptuous speakeasy, featuring delicious cocktails shaken with audacious performance.
Club Salty is an intoxicating blend of theatrical flavours, mined from the best queer, alternative and club microbiome around. With a pinch of irreverence, a dash of daring, and a good shake of soul, our doomsday cabaret will satisfy any creative craving.
And if you just want more of that sweet sweet salt, come along to Cracked Lips: Salty After Club, running late on Saturday 2 December.
So, join cultural juggernauts, THISISPOPBABY (that’s us!), for a chaotic joyride from our riotous roots into the Halophilic unknown.
Club Salty. You really had to be there.
**Venue Wheelchair Access Information: Club Salty takes place in the Racket Space, on the basement floor of The Bernard Shaw building. The Racket Space is accessible by lift. The wheelchair access toilet is at ground floor level in The Bernard Shaw, not inside the Racket Space venue, but this toilet is also accessible via the lift**
Late night and loud, Cracked Lips is our Saturday night post-Salty lock-in and freshly rimmed disco. Featuring tasty beats, queer delights and surprise special guests all under our dancefloor totem, the mirrorball. Let’s get salty as we sweat away the world outside. Grab your pals, cos we’re going out out.
Tickets for our Saturday night Cracked Lips After Party are €15, or can be purchased as an add-on to any Club Salty tickets for €10.
Created and presented by THISISPOPBABY. Hosted by Baileys. Supported by The Arts Council, Dublin City Council and The Bernard Shaw.
