Playwright Session: Am I Losing the Plot? Dramaturgy Masterclass with Dr Tanya Dean

We’re delighted to announce that our next Playwright Session will take place on Tuesday 5 April and will take the form of a workshop: Am I Losing the Plot?: A Dramaturgy Masterclass with Dr Tanya Dean

In this two hour masterclass, Dr Tanya Dean deconstructs and demystifies dramaturgy, offering writers the opportunity to see their writing from fresh angles, answering burning questions from the floor, and giving writers some takeaway tools to help progress their work into the future.

The Session will take place over Zoom at 11am GMT on Tuesday 5 April and will finish at 1pm GMT. The workshop will last two hours, led by Dr Tanya Dean and will be hosted by playwright Phillip McMahon and facilitated by artist and arts manager, Lian Bell.

The Playwright Sessions series is free to attend and is open to professional playwrights and theatre writers working on the island of Ireland and the Irish diaspora working professionally overseas. Sign ups to the Playwright Sessions mailing list are welcome any time – any new sign ups can join HERE. Sign up by 4 April to attend our next event.
