On Friday May 19th, two years since Ireland said YES to marriage equality, Mother and THISISPOPBABY are joining forces to celebrate the second annual YESTIVAL! Two of the greatest party-makers on the isle bring you Ireland’s biggest Queer Party, headlined by Dimitri from Paris & Le Galaxie, and featuring mayhem and nuttery from some of the world’s best alternative performers.

Across the two rooms of the Tivoli theatre, in association with Smirnoff, this wet dream team will be blasting glitter at the walls and turning the entire building into a queer haven. Master of ceremonies for the evening will be world renowned DJ and producer Dimitri from Paris headlining the Tivoli main room backed up by festival faves, the Mother DJs, while THISISPOPBABY’S End of the World Tea Dance explodes in a fabulous shower of glitter and false nails on the theatre stage upstairs for their first production in the capital since their award-winning, heart soaring Fringe hit RIOT.

The End of the World Tea Dance is headlined by very special guests – stomping electro favourites Le Galaxie, who have just release a dangerously charged sensuous slice of dance pop from their eagerly anticipated third album

The superbly eccentric tea dance is hosted by favourite of the Olivier-award winning La Soiree, Scotty the Blue Bunny, and also features fierce and fabulous performance from Edinburgh Fringe breakthrough performance artist Lucy McCormick; award-winning sequin-clad musical satirists Bourgeois & Maurice; Lockie Chapman & Tim Matley of multi-platinum selling doo-wop sensation The Overtones; and brand new haunting electro-pop act The She.

Other special guests appearing on the night include top-shelf buzzer and master-selector DJ Sally Cinnamon; award-winning writer and performance poet Dylan Coburn Gray; fierce and flexy contortion duo FemmeBizarre; outspoken writer and word artist Vickey Curtis; versatile tenor and theatre-maker Seán Kennedy; and queer feminist performance troupe Glitter HOLE, performing as Ireland’s first queer separatist party, ‘Fianna Fellatio’.
