Not a Funny Word by Tara Flynn

Not A Funny Word played to sell-out crowds at the Abbey Theatre and sold out all five nights at Where We Live. We are thrilled to bring it on tour ahead of the referendum this May.

In a deeply personal and bravely funny testimony, actor, comedian and activist Tara Flynn shares her account of having to travel out of Ireland for an abortion.

In the run up to the Referendum to Repeal the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution, we are now bringing this incredible show to Galway for one night only on Saturday 19 May.

Not A Funny Word played to sell-out crowds, standing ovations and rave reviews at both the Peacock last year and at Where We Live as part of St Patrick’s Festival in March. With searing honesty, Not a Funny Word examines the status quo through one woman’s own journey. And songs.
